Real estate SEO

Real estate SEO for the neighbourhood your team farms.

Most realtor SEO tries to rank a team site for a whole city. We build a portal for one farm and write it to rank for that farm's searches: sold prices, streets, schools and market updates.

Why most realtor sites don't rank

The same listings, on hundreds of sites, chasing the same city.

An IDX feed puts the same listing descriptions on every brokerage and agent site that carries them. Google has no reason to rank your copy over anyone else’s, so listing pages rarely bring traffic on their own.

Broad searches are already taken. When we checked Google Canada in October 2026, “realtor websites canada” returned HouseSigma, realtor.ca, Zolo, Zillow and REW.ca. A team site aiming at “Toronto real estate” is competing with portals that have years of links and millions of pages.

Neighbourhood searches are different. They’re specific, lower in volume, and often answered by thin pages. That’s where a focused portal can win.

How we do SEO

Pick searches you can win, then build a page for each.

Measured targets

Before anything is built, we pull the searches people make about your farm, their monthly volume and who ranks today. That is the free farm report.

A page for every search

Community guides, street and sub-area pages, school and park pages, and sold-price pages, each written for one search we measured.

Content no feed provides

Local writing on top of the data: what the streets are like, what's selling, what changed this month. It's what makes your portal different from every other IDX site.

Built to be crawled

Fast pages, clean URLs, structured data, internal links between related pages, and Search Console set up and watched from launch.

Monthly articles

Every plan from Neighbourhood up includes articles each month, aimed at the next searches the portal can win. More portals, more articles.

Reporting in leads

We report rankings and visits, but mainly registrations: how many people signed up and which streets they were researching.

How neighbourhood portals work

What SEO is for

Rankings only matter if they register.

On a VOW portal, visitors register to see sold prices and listing history. That registration step is a board rule, and it’s what turns a search visit into a name, an email and the street they were looking at.

So we pick searches with intent behind them: homeowners checking what sold nearby, buyers comparing streets. A smaller search that registers beats a bigger one that bounces.

Questions

What teams ask first.

How long does real estate SEO take?
A focused neighbourhood portal usually takes three to six months to rank for its farm's searches. City-wide terms take far longer, which is why we start narrow.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a Google ranking. We show you the searches and who ranks for them before you sign, then report every month on where the portal stands.
Can you do SEO for the website I already have?
Our SEO is built into the portals and team sites we design and operate. We don't take on SEO for sites hosted elsewhere, because most of what makes a portal rank is in how it's built.
Does Google see the sold prices behind registration?
No, and it doesn't need to. Portals rank on their public pages: community guides, street-level pages and market updates. The sold details behind registration are what turn a ranking visit into a named lead.
What does it cost?
Monthly SEO starts with the Neighbourhood plan at $790 a month, with 2 articles a month. The Starter plan ($249 a month) puts your portal live without monthly SEO. Extra articles are $250 each.
